What:  The annual Weber River Symposium

When:  January 13, 2026:  9 am to 4 pm and 4 pm to 7 pm

Where: Weber State University - Shepherd Union Ballroom

**Please note the new location this year**

Please join us at Weber State University this year for our annual symposium where we communicate and collaborate on issues affecting the Weber River watershed.  This year we take on a new format and location in an effort to include more members of the

general public and students.

The daytime session from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm requires registration with a paid or sponsored ticket.  The day will be packed with informative and engaging presentations and topics, and includes a delicious catered light breakfast, lunch buffet spread, beverages, and snacks.

The FREE evening session from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm includes engaging public-facing presentations, student poster sessions, information booths including a help desk from the Utah Division of Water Rights and other agencies and non-profit partners.  A delicious catered dinner will be served.  Please RSVP by registering

You can choose a $0 free ticket, or enter a different price if you would like to make a donation to

Weber River Partnership, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

*Please note: If you plan to attend both daytime (9 am - 4 pm paid ticket) and

evening (4 pm - 7 pm free ticket), you must register for both sessions.*  

The Union Ballroom is located upstairs, on the 3rd floor of the

Weber State University Shepherd Union Building.

 

Parking options at Weber State University include:

 

#1. Park n’ Ride for Free!  
Park at the Dee Events Center and ride the electric UTA Wildcat Shuttle to campus for free! The bus runs every 10 minutes, and the ride to the Shepherd Union Building (Weber State Central) takes 5 minutes. 

 

#2. Covered Pay Lot on Campus, near the Shepherd Union Bldg.
Parking Costs: $3 for the first hour and $1 for each hour or portion thereof after ($11 daily maximum).  Pay when you exit.

 

#3. W Lot Parking on Campus: $4 for the day.  
Purchase a W Lot Parking Pass on your way in at the Information Booth located between the roundabouts on Dixon Drive between 7:00 am and 4:00 pm.
